I would like to nominate Kennis for the Educator of the Year Award. I am constantly in awe of her meticulous planning, engaging programs, and the thoughtfully designed environment she has created, both indoors and outdoors. Her highly interactive garden allows children to spend an enormous amount of time outside, regardless of the weather, due to its innovative design. Children are free to move between indoor and outdoor spaces as they choose, fostering independence and a deep connection with nature.
Kennis's planning is always cantered on each individual child's interests while also introducing them to new and exciting experiences. She is incredibly creative with her branding, taking the time to create personalised posters that include the children in her care, making them feel valued and included. Her thoughtful and considered approach ensures that she meets all the Early Years Learning Framework outcomes.
Kennis engages with the children in a beautiful and empathetic manner, allowing them to settle quickly and feel secure and safe in her care. Her ability to create a nurturing and stimulating environment is evident in the children's enthusiasm and engagement. Kennis's dedication to individualising learning experiences and her commitment to fostering a love of learning make her truly deserving of the Educator of the Year recognition.
